fileSMART Version 4 Release

Rockend is proud to announce the release of fileSMART Version 4. This exciting new release includes two major new features:

fileSMART Outlook Plugin

The plugin provides seamless integration with Microsoft® Outlook® (2003 to 2010, 32-bit only) and fileSMART Archive. This enables you to archive emails directly from Outlook, removing the extra step of printing it to the Archive Printer and then filing it in fileSMART.

The emails are stored as an Outlook message (.msg file). This retains any formatting and embedded attachments which enables you to save your emails in their original form.

fileSMART single installation for REST Professional and STRATA Master

Up until now fileSMART was only available as separate installations for REST Professional and/or STRATA Master.
However, you can now use one installation of fileSMART for both trust accounting products. That’s right, one installation, one Electronic Document Management solution for both Strata Management and Property Management.

There are numerous other enhancements including;

• Extra filing fields for creditors in PMAdmin
• Improvement to the predictive text input (including the ability to turn it on or off as required)
• The ability to assign users with backup privileges
